This document provides a record of the various discrepancies between dimnesions recorded on plats and those measured in the field with stakes and the actions (including court actions) taken to correct these errors.

Boss Engineering "Lots 65-68 of Dunham Lake South" Survey

This survey map, produced on September 13th, 1974 and recorded on October 25th, 1974, shows the descrepancies in lots between plat of Dunham Lake Estates South and the actual field work. Listed in the "History of Plat Error" document.

Surveyor Affidavit

Subscribed and sworn on November 5th, 1974 and recorded on December 3rd, 1974. This affidavit describes the minor error the surveyor John C. Miller discovered in the lots 65-68. It also lists the incorrect data and the correction coordinates and states that the corrections will not effect the boundaries of the lots or the private park which the lots border.

Court Order

In the circuit court for Livingston County, December 11th 1975, case no. 2289

DLPOA vs. John Donohoe and Paula Donohoe vs. Dunham Lake Development Company and Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation

Attorney was Michael J. Gallagher, Judge was Paul R. Mahinske

The court found that Mr. and Mrs. Donohoe were in fault in their construction of a building on Lot 67 of Dunham Lake Estates South, since they were never given approval of the plans and were told by the Dunham Lake Civic Committee to remove the construction since it violated neighborhood regulations.
